Junior Clinic Beginner / Intermediate– Progressing to Class III

For juniors aged 10–16 who want to step up from Class II to Class III. The focus is on building confidence on the river and developing the skills needed to progress safely to the next level.

Each clinic is limited to 8 participants to ensure a high-quality learning experience. If demand is high, we will aim to add additional sessions on Friday and Saturday.

We kindly ask that at least two parents join on the river for additional safety.

• Level: Suitable for juniors confident on Class II

By registering a child for a kayak clinic at the Sjoa River Festival, parents/guardians confirm that the child has paddling skills appropriate for the level of the clinic and river conditions. Kayaking is an outdoor activity with inherent risks.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to participate in or stay close to the clinic. If a parent/guardian chooses not to attend, they do so at their own responsibility, and the Sjoa River Festival, its organisers, and instructors cannot accept liability for the child during the activity.
