This year, we’re offering a selection of clinics for kayakers of varying abilities. Each clinic is limited to 8 participants to ensure a high-quality learning experience. If demand is high, we will aim to add additional sessions on Friday and Saturday.

Wednesday 8 July – 10:00 to 13:00

Junior Clinic Beginner / Intermediate– Progressing to Class III

For juniors aged 10–16 who want to step up from Class II to Class III. The focus is on building confidence on the river and developing the skills needed to progress safely to the next level.

  • Meeting point: Skinnarberget – 10:00 (dressed and ready)
  • Price: Free
  • Instructors: Ruben Davidsen & Siren Sætre
  • Level: Suitable for juniors confident on Class II
  • River section: Bridge to Bridge

Play the River & Kickflip Clinic

Want to boost your playful side? Learn to surf, tailie, and kickflip your way down the river. This is your chance to learn from some of the best.

  • Meeting point: Harlaug Bru – 14:00 (dressed and ready)
  • Price: 500 NOK

  • Level: Intermediate / Advanced (Class III)
  • River section: Sjoa Normal / Playrun

Junior Clinic Advanced– Challenge Yourself!

For juniors aged 13–18 with solid paddling skills looking to push further. Whether it’s landing your first kickflip, surfing bigger features, or mastering boofs—this is your chance to challenge yourself.

  • Level: Suitable for juniors comfortable on Class III

Is your roll confidence holding back your paddling? Want to feel more comfortable and in control on Class III whitewater? Join some of Norway’s top young kayakers for a focused session packed with tips, coaching, and practice to help you build a stronger, more reliable roll.

  • Level: Beginner / intermediate (Class II)
